SAF Chief of Staff Engages in Strategic Dialogue with Algerian Military Leader

Muscat: Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces, met with General Sad Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of People's National Army Staff of Algeria, at Al Murtafa'a Camp today. The meeting marked a significant diplomatic engagement between Oman and Algeria, focusing on strengthening military cooperation.

According to Oman News Agency, the official reception for General Chanegriha included a guard of honour and a military band performance. These ceremonies underscored the importance of the visit, as the Algerian delegation was welcomed with traditional military protocols.

During the discussions, both military leaders shared insights and explored avenues to bolster military relations. The dialogue emphasized mutual interests and cooperation, aiming to enhance the strategic partnership between the two nations.

In attendance at the meeting was the Ambassador of Algeria to Oman, highlighting the diplomatic significance of the visit in fostering bilateral ties.
