Kazan: A delegation from Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) is taking part in the international forum of chambers of commerce and industry held in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. The forum is part of the 'Russia-Islamic World Forum: Kazan Forum 2026' and includes heads of chambers of commerce, economic bodies, and business owners from different countries.
According to Oman News Agency, the OCCI delegation is led by Eng. Said bin Ali Al Abri, a member of the OCCI Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the OCCI Branch in North Al Batinah Governorate. The forum sessions focused on promoting international economic integration and the role of the private sector in supporting development. Discussions included promising investment opportunities in the fields of 'halal' economy, food industries, logistics, and modern technologies.
The forum also featured meetings among delegations and an economic exhibition showcasing products, services, and investment opportunities. These events aim to establish new economic partnerships and enhance commercial cooperation between participating countries and establishments.
