Seventeen Injured, Four Critically, in Train Collision North of Copenhagen

Copenhagen: At least 17 people were injured, four of them critically, in a train collision north of the Danish capital today, according to police and emergency services.

According to Oman News Agency, the accident occurred on a railway line connecting the towns of Hiller¸d and Kagerup, Danish police said in a statement.

'There are injuries among the passengers. All passengers have been evacuated from both trains, and no one is trapped. Large emergency response teams have been dispatched to the scene,' an emergency services spokesperson said.

The fire department said the injured were transported from the scene by ambulances and helicopters.
