Sydney: Oman Film Society participated in the International Film Festival of Australia (IFFA). The aim is to deepen cinematic cooperation ties with international festivals, particularly IFFA, and to open new horizons for Omani films to participate on global platforms and in cinematic forums with wide influence. According to Oman News Agency, through its presence at this festival, Oman Film Society sought to open channels for future cooperation in the field of co-production, in addition to exploring opportunities for training, development, and the exchange of experiences between Omani filmmakers and their counterparts from various world countries. The participation also aimed to enhance the Omani presence in the global cinematic scene and enable filmmakers to access new experiences that enrich their work and contribute to developing the industry locally. This participation represents an important step in supporting Omani talents and enabling them to access international markets and festivals, which will pos itively reflect on the film industry in the Sultanate of Oman.
