Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology is carrying out construction work for the grading down Al Shuwaimiyah mountain pass along the Shaleem-Al Shuwaimiyah road in the Governorate of Dhofar. The project, which costs more than RO 3.2 million, is in pursuance of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to develop Dhofar Governorate’s road network, enhance traffic safety, and support the governorate’s economic and tourism activity.

According to Oman News Agency, the Ministry observes the highest technical and engineering specifications in a manner that ensures urban development and traffic safety and meets the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 for sound infrastructure and sustainable transport.
