Muscat: The wilayats of South Al Batinah Governorate: are currently carrying out an active programme of internal road paving. The programme forms part of infrastructure projects being implemented within the Governorate’s annual development plans.

According to Oman News Agency, the projects are undertaken by the Directorate General of South Al Batinah Municipality and include the paving of internal roads in residential neighbourhoods and parking areas of government departments, commercial complexes, health centres, schools, and mosques. Additionally, the initiative aims to connect internal roads with each other.

The development projects facilitate access to service areas and boost the environmental cleanliness of the residential neighbourhoods and wilayats of the Governorate.
