Beirut: MP Paula Yaacoubian warned that Lebanon has become deeply entangled in regional and international power struggles, no longer shielded from external turmoil. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in an interview with "Voice of All Lebanon," she described the current moment as a critical turning point, with Lebanon once again serving as a testing ground for shifting geopolitical balances. Commenting on the recent Israeli escalation in the south, Yaacoubian said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may be fueling new tensions to ease domestic pressure, putting Lebanon at serious risk of a renewed military conflict.
