Muscat: Her Highness the Honorable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, has conveyed a message of greetings on the occasion of Omani Women’s Day, celebrated annually on 17 October. She extended her warm regards to Omani women and female residents in the nation.

According to Oman News Agency, Her Highness emphasized the historical significance and contributions of Omani women in her message. She highlighted the roles of women as nurturing mothers, wise grandmothers, and dutiful daughters who have significantly contributed to the advancement and heritage of Oman. Her message underscored the pride felt on Omani Women’s Day, acknowledging women’s achievements in various fields such as education, leadership, and economic development.

Her Highness also addressed the challenges faced by women, families, and youth in the modern era. She reassured that under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan, Oman is committed to supporting women as they overcome these challenges, emphasi
zing the partnership between men and women in nation-building. She urged the youth to be exemplary ambassadors for Oman, grounded in religious and cultural values.
