Musandam: The activities of a Pharmacy Forum began today in the Wilayat of Khasab in Musandam Governorate, in celebration of the World Pharmacists Day, under the slogan “Think health, Think pharmacist.”

According to Oman News Agency, the forum is organized as part of the efforts of the Directorate of Pharmacy and Medical Warehouses in Musandam Governorate. The aim is to highlight the role of pharmacists as a fundamental pillar of the healthcare system. The forum serves as a platform for communication between pharmacists and the community, providing an opportunity to enhance professional empowerment and showcase pharmacists’ contributions to improving healthcare services.

Mouza Ahmed Al Shehhi, Director General of Pharmaceutical Care and Medical Warehouses in Musandam, delivered a speech emphasizing that the pharmacist is a key partner in the treatment journey. She noted that the Directorate General of Health Services in Musandam is currently implementing several development projects as part of its strategic plans. Among these, the Regional Medical Warehouse Project in the governorate is expected to enhance the efficiency of the pharmaceutical and medical supply chain, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of supplies throughout the governorate.
