Muscat: The State Council and the Shura Council are set to convene this Tuesday for the first joint meeting of the second annual session for the eighth term of the Council of Oman. The meeting will focus on addressing areas of disagreement regarding several draft laws that are currently under consideration.

According to Oman News Agency, the agenda for the meeting includes discussions on the Electronic Transactions draft law, the Public Health draft law, and the Human Organ and Tissue Transplantation and Transfer draft law. Additionally, the Financial draft law, the Individual Income Tax draft law, and the Special Economic Zones and Free Zones draft laws will also be under deliberation.

The outcome of this meeting is anticipated to pave the way for resolving disputes and advancing the legislative process for these crucial laws.
