New York: The US dollar maintained its strength at 109.67 against a basket of currencies, remaining near its highest point since November 2022. This stability follows the release of strong US job data. According to Oman News Agency, the euro and the New Zealand dollar were both close to their lowest levels in more than two years, recorded at $1.0242 and $0.5565, respectively, during the early Asian trading session. Meanwhile, the Japanese yen saw a 0.12% decline against the dollar, bringing it to 157.92, while the British pound increased slightly by 0.07% to reach $1.2204. In China, the yuan showed minimal movement in offshore trading, stabilizing at 7.3605 against the dollar.
