Strong participation in start of new endurance racing season


Manama, The Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) organised local qualifying races of 40km and 80km, as well as a 100km international qualifying race, marking the start of the 2024/2025 season at the Bahrain International Endurance Village.

The races saw strong participation from local stables, alongside riders from outside Bahrain, with over 163 participants.

Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayyed, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), took part in the 40km race, successfully completing it.

The races were held in the evening, with ‘Team Victorious’ securing first place in the 100km international qualifying race.

The 100km international race was held over three stages, the 80km race over three stages, and the 40km race in a single stage.

BREEF commended the wide participation from stables and wished all riders success.

A number of riders highlighted the valuable experience gained from the qualifying races, which serve as crucial preparation for future competition
s, helping them assess their horses and achieve their goals. They expressed their thanks to the federation and the organising committees for the well-executed event.
