Security update: Airstrikes hit Sarba, Ain Qana, Harouf, and Rmeish as southern Lebanon faces intensified bombardment


Different regions of southern Lebanon came under heavy Israeli assault on Friday morning as enemy warplanes and artillery targeted several areas.

Around 9:50 am, enemy aircraft launched an airstrike between the southern villages of Sarba and Ain Qana in Iqlim al-Tuffah area.

Shortly after, at 9:45 am, a second airstrike hit al-Qalaa neighborhood of Harouf, near the village of al-Dweir in Nabatieh.

Since 9:15 am, the village of Aita al-Shaab has been subjected to continuous artillery shelling.

In Marjeyoun, an enemy drone carried out an attack on a house in the village of Rmeish, marking the first assault on the village during this escalation. Simultaneously, Kfarkela is under artillery fire.

Overnight, the enemy’s artillery targeted the villages of Adaisseh, Kfarkela, the Litani River area near Khardali, as well as the outskirts of Deir Mimas, Burj al-Muolouk, and Khyam.

This morning, warplanes struck Khyam three times, along with an air raid on Debeine village.

Meanwhile, two civilians were killed in
an early morning airstrike that hit a house in the village of Khirbet Silem, adding to the toll of destruction and casualties in the region.
