The Sultanate of Oman and the United Mexican States today held the 2nd political talks session in Muscat. The Omani side was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Mexican side was headed by Maria Teresa Mercado, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry. During the session, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and underscored their keenness to continue developing those relations. They also touched on regional and international issues of mutual interest. The session was attended by Anibal Gomez Toledo, Ambassador of the United Mexican States to the Sultanate of Oman and Dr. Hanan Ibrahim Al Shuhi, Head of the America Department at the Foreign Ministry.
