Israeli warplanes carried out a series of intense raids on several towns in southern Lebanon today. According to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA), the town of Kfarkela was hit by four rockets, with two rockets per strike. After midnight, Israeli aircraft fired two rockets into the area between the towns of Jibbain and Chihine, coinciding with artillery shelling on the outskirts of Yater and Haddatha. The city of Khiyam was also hit by an airstrike in conjunction with artillery shelling targeting the towns of Beit Lif, Aaita El Jabal, Jabal Balat and the town of Ramia. The town of Taybeh, the Salhani area and the town of Mays al-Jabal were also subjected to intensive airstrikes. Subsequently, there was a significant increase in Israeli warplane activity over the areas of Nabatieh, Iqlim al-Tuffah, El Zahrani, and Tyre at medium altitude. Source: Oman News Agency
