On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, today presided over a reading of Prophet Mohammed's Life Story. The recital, which marks the birthday of Prophet Mohammed, was held at Al Mawlid Hall in Al Alam Palace. The ceremony was attended by some Royal Family members, ministers, senior military commanders, heads of diplomatic missions of Islamic countries accredited to the Sultanate of Oman and other officials and dignitaries. 'May Allah Almighty bring back this great occasion and similar events with blessings of well-being upon His Majesty the Sultan and May He endow Omani people and the rest of Islamic nation with peace, progress and stability!'
