The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Economy took part today in the 14th regular ministerial session of the Economic and Social Council, held at the headquarters of the Secretariat General of the Arab League in Cairo. Oman's delegation in the meeting was headed by Dr. Nasser Rashid Al Maawali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy. The meeting discussed the report of the Arab League Secretary General on joint Arab economic and social action. It also touched on the preparations pertaining to the economic and social files for the 34th Arab League summit which will be held in Iraq. Moreover, the meeting also reviewed several topics related to Arab cooperation in the fields of health, education and social development, among other topics. Source: Oman News Agency
