The Sultanate of Oman today took part in the 13th meeting of the Committee of Heads and Directors of GCC Tax Departments. The meeting was held in Doha. Oman's delegation was headed by Nasser Khamis Al Jashmi, Chairman of the Tax Authority. The meeting discussed means of upgrading cooperation between GCC tax authorities, streamlining GCC tax systems and studying the best practices in combating tax evasion, with the overall objective of establishing a fair and transparent Gulf tax system.
