New Paraguayan Ambassador to Lebanon, Osvaldo Adib Bitar, on Wednesday presented his credentials to Foreign Minister, Abdullah Bou Habib, who wished him success in his mission and expressed Lebanon's readiness to provide all possible support to strengthen the ties and cooperation between the two countries. Minister Bou Habib also met with Austrian Ambassador, René Amry, who paid him a farewell visit as his term in Lebanon concludes. During the meeting, the pair reviewed the latest developments in Lebanon and the region. Bou Habib expressed hope that Austria would leverage its relations with Israel to exert pressure to end its aggression against Lebanon and support current efforts to achieve a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
