Through its participation in the '2024 School Summer Programme' organized by the Ministry of Education, Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) held public awareness workshops about the role of promoting and protecting child rights. As many as 700 school pupils benefited from the activities carried out by the OHRC in 13 centres in Oman governorates. OHRC also distributed about 1,500 booklets, pamphlets and video clips that it produced about a broad range of issues and topics dealing with Child rights. The programmes presented by the OHRC touched on the International Convention on Child Rights and related laws and legislation on protecting child rights. Source: Oman News Agency
