Muscat, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of condolences to President Dr. Tu Lam of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the death of former president Nguyen Phu Trong.

In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to President Dr. Tu Lam, family of the deceased and the people of Vietnam.
