Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday to discuss the situations in Gaza Strip and other occupied Palestinian territories. In a phone conversation, initiated by President Macron, both leaders reviewed the bilateral ties and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, according to a statement from the Qatari Amiri Diwan. The French leader appreciated the role of Qatar in protecting the safety of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
