Dr. Abdulla bin Nasser Al Noaimi, Nasser Vocational Training Centre (NVTC) Executive Director received Ni Ruchi, Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain.

The meeting discussed cooperation in technology, industry, and training.

Dr. Al Noaimi reviewed NVTC’s role in providing the industry and technology sectors with local competencies with advanced skills.

He pointed out to NVTC’s contribution to the industrial and technical growth in the Kingdom, from the academic and research sides, represented in providing educational curricula and training programs.

The executive director emphasized that Nasser Center for Research and Development in Artificial Intelligence is working to establish smart rules for partner institutions, by harnessing AI technologies to serve the institutions related to developing production, improving services, and enhancing competitiveness in the business environment.

He also stressed the center's keenness to further develop cooperation between the two sides, noting the important role played by China in industry and technology at the global level.

Dr. Al Noaimi expressed his keenness to further cooperate with China; to exchange expertise in the fields of education and training in various specializations of technology and AI techniques, data science, machine learning algorithms, car manufacturing and repair, engineering, and others.

The ambassador praised the ties between Bahrain and China and the continuous development they are witnessing in various development fields.
