Baghdad The General Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control arrested eight suspects, including a woman, in different regions of Iraq.

The directorate stated in a statement: “The directorate’s detachments arrested four suspects in Muthanna, two in Kirkuk and two in Basra, and seized quantities of narcotics, in addition to drug paraphernalia, and they were referred to the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of the two legal articles (28/32) of drugs.”
