Gaza - Ma'an - The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that its fighters were able to detonate an anti-personnel explosive device "Thunder" against an Israeli infantry force next to an armored personnel carrier, indicating that the force was killed and wounded in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood south of Gaza City, in the northern part of the Strip. In a second operation, Al-Qassam said that its fighters were able to detonate two anti-personnel and anti-vehicle bombs against an engineering force in the Zalata area, killing and wounding them east of Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip. In a third and fourth operation, Al-Qassam confirmed that its fighters were able to engage directly with an Israeli infantry force of 9 soldiers from point zero, killing and wounding them east of the Al-Farahin area east of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip. They also targeted a D9 military bulldozer with a Yassin 105 shell in the same area. The occupation forces admitted that seven soldiers were in jured, four of whom were seriously injured, when a Palestinian resistance fighter threw a hand grenade at them in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
